Countdown: 46 days.
Comprehensive countdown: 7 papers, 2 finals, and one intimidating appointment at the French consulate.
In a little over a month, I’ll be saying au revoir to America and salut to mes amis en France.
AND I AM SO EXCITED.
Granted, I’m absolutely drowning in paperwork right now, from visas to school forms to NYU forms, you name it, there IS a form for it. Moderately (very) annoying in some cases, but I am convinced that all the tedious fill in the blanks will be worth it soon enough.
However, I did probably the dumbest thing I could possibly do last night and watched Hostel II. It terrified me more than Taken did, probably because the girls in Taken were just stupid to begin with. Basically what I learned from the movie was that I probably shouldn’t go to Slovakia, bond with strange girls, or go on boat rides with creepy men.
Not that I was planning on doing any of that anyways, but maybe I should stop looking for horror movies about people traveling in Europe.

Well, if you’re ever stolen from your place of residence, forced to be hooked on drugs, and dumped into a prostitution ring as one of their whores, I’ll find Liam Neeson and send him after you. No worries.

Hope you do find Liam Neeson if that happens, because my research speed and fighting skills pale in comparison!

Ok, thanks! I’ll need his life superiority to save me.
I wish my apartment could be as sweet as that one was though…
